What is Chinese Medicine ?
Chinese Medicine has two basic disciplines: acupuncture and herbal medicine. It is based on the theory that all disorders and illness arise from an imbalance between Yin and Yang and is holistic in nature. The imbalance can be caused by problems arising from the organs, or more abstractly, the stagnation of energy circulating in the body. The principle of Chinese Medicine is to balance the Yin and Yang, regulating the flow of energy in the energy channels and harmonise the functions of different organs.
